We’re back with our final “Let’s Talk About…” post! I can’t believe all the things we’ve chatted about over these past few months! Be sure to check them out if you haven’t already!
Let’s Talk About…: a game we haven’t talked about yet.
Like, ever?
Okay.

I actually really like all the LEGO games, which is strange to think about because I don’t talk about them all that much. But one aspect I particularly enjoy is that, in spite of their lighthearted nature, they really delve into the lore and are solid, “canonically accurate” games.
After all, it was through the LEGO games that I learned that Green Lantern isn’t the only Lantern in existence, after being confused as to why he kept showing up in different-colored costumes.

I learned that not only do they come in different flavors, but they apparently have different powers because of it, too! The more you know, right?

But I digress. I was talking about LEGO Star Wars. I really love Star Wars, I really love LEGOs, and I really love video games that have couch cooperative play, so… what’s not to like? But I think the thing that I enjoy the most about these games is that, while they can seem silly, they are really solid games that play out like all the best parts of a comic book coupled with the imaginative world that only LEGOs can create.
That, and my friend and I both resorted to going into “pro mode” simultaneously during one particularly difficult pod race section, which resulted in us laughing at each other (and also completing the challenge, so it worked).

Have you ever played a LEGO game? What did you think of it? What’s another game that we haven’t talked about, but you’ve been waiting to see get some screen time? Let me know in the comments!
And join us next week as our discussions take a bit of a turn from the games to the gamers who love them…
Thanks for stopping by, and I’ll see you soon,
