On the Eighth Day of Blogmas…

Merry Blogmas!

We are back with our chorus of bloggers, singing our own version of “12 Days of Christmas.” Instead of leaping lords and turtle doves, we’ll be giving you 364 great gaming and blogging gifts. Check out our previous days, too, if you’re just joining us!

On the eighth day of Blogmas, the gamers said to me:

FIVE REPEAT GAMES!!!! (6 resolutions, 7 favorite posts, 8 beloved characters, 9 games to play, 10 reasons you’d play, 11 games you love, and don’t forget to link to gaming memories!)

Only five games that I’ve played more than once? Surely! I’ll even put how many times, just for giggles:

1. Metal Gear Solid 2: Sons of Liberty – over 18 times (complete games)
   When you love a game, you love a game, right?
   
2. Dragon Age: Origins – 7 times (complete games), additional 4 incomplete games
   Who here is surprised it’s not more??
   
3. The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess – 4 times (complete games), additional one time incomplete
   I loved this iteration of Hyrule. The art style, the controls, the story, the companion character…
   
4. Mass Effect – 3 times (complete games), additional 1 time incomplete
   Another shocker to everyone, I’m sure.

   

5. Metal Gear Solid – 3 times (complete games)
   The one that got me hooked… I should really go back and revisit it one of these days…
   

Five games stuck on replay, as it were. And I wouldn’t have it any other way.
